About BetLabel Kenya

An independent information site about one betting brand, written for one market, with an explicit rule against publishing anything we cannot source.

Quick answer

BetLabel Kenya is an independent information website about the BetLabel betting brand, written specifically for users in Kenya. We are not BetLabel, we are not owned by the operator, and we cannot access or manage any betting account. We earn commission when readers sign up through our links, and that funding model does not change what we publish — including the fact that BetLabel is not licensed in Kenya.

We are not the operator

BetLabel Kenya is an independent information website. We are not BetLabel, we are not owned by or affiliated with the operator, and we cannot open, manage, verify or recover any betting account on your behalf.

What this site is

This site exists to answer a specific set of questions properly: what BetLabel offers, whether it works for someone betting from Kenya, and what the risks are. Those questions are asked constantly and answered badly — usually by pages that copy promotional material, convert a euro figure into shillings and publish it as fact.

We took a different approach, built on one rule:

Our core rule

Every commercial claim on this site is either backed by a named source or explicitly marked as unverified. Where we could not confirm something, the page says "Information not independently verified" rather than showing a plausible-looking number. This is enforced in the site's own code: unverified data cannot render a value.

That rule produced findings that are commercially inconvenient for us, and we published them anyway. The most significant is that BetLabel does not appear on Kenya's list of approved gambling operators, and that we could not confirm M-Pesa support — the payment method most Kenyan bettors depend on. Both are stated prominently on our review and our M-Pesa page.

Why Kenya specifically

Betting information does not translate well between markets. A guide written for European bettors will not mention M-Pesa, will not explain that 20% withholding tax is deducted before your payout reaches you, and will not know that a KSh 50 minimum deposit is the local norm.

Everything here was written for the Kenyan context from the start: the payment methods people actually use, the tax regime that applies, the Gambling Control Act, 2025 framework, and the football that Kenyan bettors follow.

How we are funded

We earn affiliate commission when readers register with operators through links on this site. That is our only revenue, and we want to be direct about what it means.

  • Commission is paid regardless of whether you win or lose. We are paid for referrals, not outcomes.
  • It costs you nothing and does not change any offer available to you.
  • It creates an obvious incentive to be positive, which is exactly why we built the verification rule into the site's structure rather than relying on good intentions.

You should read anything on this site — and every other affiliate site — with that incentive in mind. Our response to it is to publish the negatives prominently and tell you how to verify our claims yourself. Full affiliate disclosure →

Who writes this

BetLabel Kenya Editorial Team

Research & content

A Kenya-focused research desk covering betting operators, mobile money payments and gambling regulation in Kenya.

BetLabel Kenya Compliance Desk

Fact-check & compliance review

Checks every commercial claim against a primary source before publication and flags anything that cannot be verified.

Content is researched and written by the editorial team, then checked against sources by the compliance desk before publication. Any claim that cannot be sourced is either removed or marked as unverified.

What we will not do

  • Invent data. No made-up bonuses, paybill numbers, limits or payout figures.
  • Publish star ratings we have not earned. We have not funded accounts and tested withdrawals, so we do not publish scores or emit review ratings in our structured data.
  • Rank operators we have not tested. We publish a checklist instead.
  • Sell or publish betting tips. Nobody can predict results, and paid tipsters are running a scam.
  • Present betting as income. The maths does not support it and we say so repeatedly.
  • Ask for your credentials. Never a password, a PIN or a verification code.
  • Target anyone under 18. This site is for adults only.

Corrections

We will get things wrong, and betting terms change constantly. If you find an error — or if you have first-hand evidence that contradicts something here, such as M-Pesa actually working in your account — please tell us. We will check it and correct the page, and we will change the "last checked" date when we do.
